The Moulton’s heritage in Northwest, FL goes back eight generations. Moulton Properties, Inc. was started in 1931 in conjunction with the Moulton’s Drug Stores. Founder W.W. Moulton together with his sons built neighborhood shopping centers in East Hill, North Hill and the Warrington areas of Pensacola, FL to service the shopping needs of their drug store customers.

Today, many of the original Moulton retail buildings have been completely renovated and converted into office space including the two buildings at the corner of 12th Ave. and Gonzalez, directly across from Old Sacred Heart Hospital. Additional revitalization projects include renovation and conversion of the retail building at 1300 N. Palafox St. into competitively priced office space. This renovation will focus on connecting the 1300 N. Palafox with surrounding parks and historical buildings.

Other Moulton Properties projects include exterior renovations to Tiger Point Shopping Center, Gulf Breeze, FL anchored by Winn-Dixie and Beall’s Department Store; exterior renovations and expansion of Innerarity Point Shopping Center, Innerarity Point, FL anchored by Winn-Dixie; and exterior renovations to Cantonment Square Shopping Center, Cantonment, FL anchored by Janet Holley, Escambia County Tax Collector.

In the future, Moulton Properties, Inc. will continue acquiring and developing commercial and residential property in Northwest Florida. It will also continue redeveloping space within the urban core of Pensacola, FL including downtown.
